Signature Panels On Plastic Cards

     The signature panel is a white or translucent writable surface area that is placed on the back of a plastic card. It allows customers to use a variety of ink pens to write directly on the surface of plastic card, not just a permanent marker. Signature panel is not only used for customer signatures, but can also be used to add any type of information at a later time, including expiration date, member name, member join date, or any other information.

     You can add a signature panel anywhere on the card, but the signature area must avoid these areas, such as card embossing, magnetic stripes, art design or other variable information. Stay at least 1/8 inch away from these areas and the edges of the card.

     Most plastic cards require a signature strip, such as membership cards, VIP cards, loyalty cards and more. There are the following ways to make signature strips, most of which use screen printing ink.

•      (1) Use special screen printing ink to scrape.
•      (2) Use special silicone for hot stamping.
•      (3) Use special adhesive labels for labeling.

     Signature areas are available in various shapes or sizes. You can customize one or more panels, or even all-over panels for notes on the back of plastic cards according to your needs. The signature areas are available in various colors, such as white, brown, gray, transparent, etc. Among them, white is the traditional look.
