Plastic Card Material

     Plastic card can be made of various materials, such as PVC, PET, PETG, ABS, Wood, Metal, etc. PVC is the most commonly used material, PET and PETG are environmentally friendly materials. Different materials can reflect different intuitive feelings and visual impact so that you can use plastic cards to express the uniqueness of your brand. Standard PVC

     PVC is short for Poly Vinyl Chloride, a material that uses polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of anti-aging agents, modifiers by kneading, calendaring, vacuum blistering and other processes. PVC has a variety of colors and bright patterns.
     The standard size is 85.5×54mm and the bleeding size is 88.5×56mm. The standard sickness is 0.76mm and can also be made 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.84mm, 1.0mm, etc.
     The colors of PVC are white, black, red, transparent and other colors can be customized.
 

PET

     PET is a colorless and transparent material with high hardness and toughness. It is a crystalline polyester polymerized by terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol through esterification.
     PET material has low specific gravity, non-hygroscopicity, high insulation and transparency, superior mechanical properties, small processing deformation, good abrasion resistance, good chemical resistance, good card surface finish, long service life.
 

PETG

     PETG is a polyester obtained by copolymerization of (CHDM) ethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalic acid (TPA) polycondensation polyester (PET). It is an amorphous copolyester with high transparency and high material. Impact resistance, high hardness and good low temperature toughness.
     PETG has a lower temperature (about 100%), higher mechanical strength, higher transparency than PVC, good gloss, easy printing, and environmental protection advantages.
 

ABS Recycled

     ABS (Acrylonitrite Butadience Styrene) is synthesized from three monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. It is a kind of light yellow opaque particles with high gloss on the surface. ABS is an amorphous material with a slightly heavier specific gravity than water.
     ABS material has high rigidity and medium tensile strength. Has good chemical resistance and surface hardness, good toughness and impact resistance, easy processing, strong fluidity, easy to print and dye.
 

Metal

     The metal card is a thin copper sheet that has been developed according to a card pattern and then electrolytically etched and electroplated. Some metal cards have an additional coloring or silvering process. The metal card reveals a distinguished atmosphere and is a symbol of the most distinguished and noble status.
     The metal card has golden light shining, noble and elegant, unique embossed three-dimensional feeling and visual impact of real gold color. The commonly used thickness is 0.35mm, and can also be made 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.40mm, etc.
 

Wood

     Made using thin veneers cut from natural cherry or beech, these cards use the natural grain and texture of the finished wood to stand out. Wood cards can be custom die cut to create more texture, then laser etched to make any card truly unique.
