         Magnetic stripe card is a type of pvc cards that have a magstripe on the back, which use modified iron-based magnetic particles to communicate data between the strip and the receiving card terminal. The magnetic stripe card only acts as a static storage device to be read by the terminal. Then, the terminal performs card swiping, PIN encryption and signature capture functions.
